Why I made it
A medical scan contains far more information than a patient can interpret alone. I wanted to learn how far general-purpose coding agents could go when asked to inspect the underlying imaging rather than only summarize a radiology report.
What it became
Across three Claude Code sessions and one Codex session, the agents converted and inspected 132 DICOM images, revisited relevant slices and produced independent analyses of my knee MRI.
What happened
This was a real personal workflow, not a medical device or clinically validated diagnosis. It showed how agents can coordinate file conversion, visual inspection and written reasoning, and why medical use still requires unusually careful uncertainty and professional review.
